Our Goal:
Put students at the center. We bring caring adults into schools to address the barriers for students, linking educators, families and the community. Our job is to connect students and their famlies to basic and critical community resources, tailored to each student's individual needs.
What We Do
CIS supports students in all three Greensville County schools and three Danville schools. Through early interventions and enrichment opportunities, CIS works with the community inside schools to help students succeed. We are committed to preparing students for success in school and in life. We work in collaboration with the school to provide whole-school, small group and individual support including:
- Attendance support
- Academic assistance
- Family Engagement
- Life and social skills
- College & Career Readiness
- Enrichment activites including after-school programs, STEAM, mentoring and more
