Vice President of Operations
The Vice President of Operations is a senior leader responsible for cultivating Communities In Schools of Virginia’s (CIS-VA) organizational culture and executing and managing all parts of the Human Resources, Finance, and Operations. This role will oversee the daily operations of the organization and ensure alignment between the strategic plan, embedded affiliates implementation, and staff culture. CIS-VA’s is in the midst of significant growth, both in scope and staffing, and the Vice President of Operations will be instrumental in creating and implementing equity driven solutions to meet the needs of the internal structure for the entire organization while ensuring solid financial systems are in place. CIS-VA is deeply committed to their mission, vision, and values, and the Vice President of Operations is required to help contribute, develop, and uphold CIS-VA’s core competencies. The Vice President of Operations will work to streamline internal operations including examining automation possibilities.
Vice President of Advancement
The Vice President of Advancement is a senior leader responsible for shaping and executing the long-term resource strategy for Communities In Schools of Virginia (CIS-VA). This role drives all aspects of fundraising, communications, and external engagement, with a sharp focus on securing transformational gifts that ensure the sustainability and growth of the organization and the network.
Program Director(s)
The Program Director leads the implementation and growth of CIS programming in Virginia’s Southside region. This role oversees a team of Site Coordinators, ensures fidelity to the CIS model, and builds strong partnerships with school divisions and community stakeholders. The position combines strategic leadership, program oversight, and relationship management to drive measurable impact for students.
