Vice President of Operations
The Vice President of Operations is a senior leader responsible for cultivating Communities In Schools of Virginia’s (CIS-VA) organizational culture and executing and managing all parts of the Human Resources, Finance, and Operations. This role will oversee the daily operations of the organization and ensure alignment between the strategic plan, embedded affiliates implementation, and staff culture. CIS-VA’s is in the midst of significant growth, both in scope and staffing, and the Vice President of Operations will be instrumental in creating and implementing equity driven solutions to meet the needs of the internal structure for the entire organization while ensuring solid financial systems are in place. CIS-VA is deeply committed to their mission, vision, and values, and the Vice President of Operations is required to help contribute, develop, and uphold CIS-VA’s core competencies. The Vice President of Operations will work to streamline internal operations including examining automation possibilities.
Student Support Coordinator
Communities In Schools of Virginia is seeking a dedicated Student Support Coordinator to serve as the heartbeat of operations at the school level. In this vital role, the Coordinator identifies students and connects them with the essential resources required for academic and personal success. Responsibilities range from implementing school-wide climate improvements to providing intensive, one-on-one case management, ensuring every student receives the tailored support they need to thrive.
